GLASS BALCONIES MATCHING CLADDED FAÇADES

In the heart of the city, near the waters of the Alster river, the St. Georg area in Hamburg has recently been modernized. Post-war and older constructions were partly exchanged for fresh new architecture. Now the area has it all: nature, modern architecture and the buzz of shops, theatres and restaurants close by. No wonder the area has turned into one of Hamburg’s most desirable locations.

About the project
The Max Living project occupies half a block in St. Georg. The project incorporates 80 exclusive condominiums and fits in perfectly with neighboring constructions thanks to the clad façade, typical for Hamburg. For the exterior balconies and penthouse, Hanseata Flachglas supplied around 850 meters of railing, Easy Glass Slim base shoes, glass infills and stainless steel cap rails. In this instance frosted glass infills were used to let light in without compromising privacy.
