Our wide range of prefix services makes that possible! It not only saves you valuable time but also makes it possible to achieve balustrades with a unique appearance.

In addition to a comprehensive range of products, Q-railing offers a host of other services that are designed to make your life easier. That includes bending, pre-machining, cutting, milling, drilling, welding and powder-coating. 

Spotlight on curved lines
The trend towards curved lines and shapes continues unabated and ­has become indispensable in modern architecture. We picked up on these developments at an early stage and, among other things, launched our bending service. Today, we offer both 2D and 3D bending work for balustrade parts such as tubes, cap rails, U-profiles, edge protection and even our Easy Glass base shoes. Our accurate service ensures that you get exactly the sizes and radii you need.

The new head office of SpareBank 1 SR-Bank in the Finansparken Bjergsted in Stavanger, Norway, demonstrates just how impressive such bends can be. The design includes a state-of-the-art atrium with curved wooden staircases framed by our Easy Glass Slim and Easy Glass Pro glass balustrades. We gave the railings a customer-specific 2D and 3D bend to follow the course of the stairs over a total of 50 metres.

Tailor-made railing parts
You are also welcome to leave all the pre-assembly work to us. Our prefix service provides you with assembled balustrade components that fulfil your exact specifications. You will be surprised at how much time you can save if, for example, glass clamps or crossbar holders are already preinstalled. Did you know that you can also order our brand-new Easy Alu balustrade system pre-fabricated? All that remains for you to do is to install the railing modules on the construction site. 


Cutting, drilling and welding
Our cutting service for elements made of stainless steel, aluminium or wood also gives you maximum convenience. That includes handrails, cap rails, baluster posts and base shoes. We can even cut your balustrade parts to a mitre or deliver them with pre-milled holes, e.g. for LED spotlights.

If you wish, we can do absolutely all of the drilling work you require. We provide posts and other railing components according to your exact specifications, with all the holes and threads that you need for installation. In rare cases, the standard Q-railing products have to be welded to meet a specific installation requirement. We would be happy to do that pre-welding, providing you with custom-made balustrade parts delivered ready for installation.

Create colour effects using powder-coating
Would you like to create an individual effect with colour? No problem! Simply add powder-coating to your order and choose a RAL colour that we should apply – for example to base shoes, cap rails or end caps. We can help you create memorable architectural effects.
