Safety is a paramount consideration here at Q-railing. As you may already know, all our products and systems are tested extensively and come with national and international quality and safety certificates. MOD 28 and MOD 42, designed for glass thicknesses of between 6 and 12.76 mm, are likewise thoroughly tested and certified. But what is it that distinguishes them from other glass holders? These are the first glass clamps to be certified for glass widths of up to 2,000 mm! That means that you can work with even bigger uninterrupted glass surfaces and, as a result, give your baluster railing system even more transparency.

Secure clamping that won’t slip
Q-railing’s renowned easy-installation system is naturally an integral part of our MOD 28 and MOD 42 glass clamps. Adjustable screws make it easy to compensate for tolerances and thus achieve optimal clamping. The individual rubber inserts we provide for glass of all thicknesses also help to ensure that clamping is secure and won't slip.
 

MOD 28: the rounded glass clamp
Elegant curves are what make our MOD 28 glass clamp unique – a design that has been protected by a design patent.
Use MOD 28 to create railings with a clean, timeless look. This glass holder fits perfectly with our stainless steel posted system, and is even suitable for outdoor use – the rounded surface of the clamp sheds dirt and water more readily. Attractively shaped, it is compatible with flat and round connections, also with both 42.4 mm and 48.3 mm tubes. In addition, MOD 28 provides considerable cost savings in that it requires fewer baluster posts and thus takes less time to mount. It is available in 304 and 316-quality stainless steel, or in zamak with a polished finish, a stainless steel finish or black powder-coating (RAL 9005) as well as in an untreated version for powder-coating later.

MOD 42: the square glass clamp
Choose MOD 42 to create a timeless square look. This highly versatile clamp gives you a huge diversity of design options. MOD 42 is available in 304 and 316-quality, or in zamak with a stainless steel finish or black (RAL 9005) or anthracite grey (RAL 7016) powder-coating as well as in an untreated version. All these materials form an attractive counterpoint to the transparency of the glass. The geometric shape of this glass clamp works exceptionally well with Square Line 60x30 and Square Line 40x40. The combination gives balustrades an overall look that is even more elegant. An integrated safety plate adds some important additional functionality. In the event of a fire, it would act as a mechanical safety restraint, preventing the glass pane from slipping. That means you can use glass without having to drill holes in it, thereby saving on costs.
