BRIDGING THE GAPS

The Capernwray Bible School and Conference Centre is situated in an area of great natural beauty on the Cumbrian border in the UK. The project called for an outdoor bridge to the conference centre, an interior balustrade, a low wall and a handrail on a staircase. The architects chose Q-railing products as they felt they would create the right contemporary feel.

Unique customised look
The outdoor footbridge makes use of the Q-line baluster system, brackets, glass clamps and a wooden handrail painted black. The combination of these elements makes for a totally unique look. Q-line pre-fixed posts and square glass clamps with 10 mm glass infill were used to provide extra protection on top of a low parapet.
